NOURNEWS– The following text is a comprehensive review of the important points of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah’s speech on Martyr’s Day.
I welcome the honorable attendees and express great pride in our martyrs. 11/11 is a day that honors every Hezbollah martyr since the very beginning of the Resistance of Hezbollah, to the last martyrs, the ones whose funerals were held today.
This day just like every year, 11 November, this day is the day of the martyr and what we mean is every martyr, the first martyr, since the latest who was buried today.
Today is the day of every martyr, commander, soldier, and everyone who has fallen in any battle, women, elderly, children, and young.
Today was chosen after the operation on 11 November 1992. This date was selected after the incomparable operation carried out against the “Israeli” military governor’s headquarters in Tyr, after which the 3 days of mourning were announced in the occupying entity. This operation was carried out by the prince of the self-sacrificing martyrs, Ahmad Kassir. It humiliated the enemy, just as on October 7, and this operation remains the most significant operation against the occupying enemy.
And I quote, “For martyrdom is the maker of victory, and this is what Imam Khomeini said in the Karbala incident, with the victory of blood over the sword.”
Martyrs take action when everyone else turns away. Our beloved martyrs died for the sake of God, they carry an elevated status before Allah that we are unable to grasp with our limited minds, our martyrs are the people of faith in God, His prophets, the angels, the holy book, and the Last Day, and they are grateful to be chosen by God.
Our martyrs are the people of [unmatched] insight. They are the people of Jihad, hard work, sacrifice, and bearing responsibility, they are the people who do not await any praise or gratitude from anyone but God.
‘The Mujahideen on the forefronts carry these same traits as they head to the battlefields without hesitation. The families of the martyrs are people of patience, sacrifice, acceptance, and pride in Allah’s choice for them, just as their beloved children.
One of the most difficult tribulations in the holy Quran is that of the passing of one’s child. The families of the martyrs carry this burden in addition to preserving the path their children sacrificed for, & and we find them to be the ones preserving it like no other.
The enemy entity openly, shamelessly, and clearly attacks hospitals in the Gaza Strip, in full view and hearing of the world. The aggression is an open confession on Zionists’ attack on Hospitals, and the enemy confesses to these crimes. Nothing is spared from the Zionist regime’s ongoing bombardment of Gaza, Israeli regime does not spare hospitals, schools, mosques, or churches in shelling Gaza. This is revenge against Palestinians, the Brutality of the events transpiring in Gaza shows the true face of the Zionist entity.
What is happening is exceptional and dangerous, in our region and our world, these war crimes and brutality in such a small space like Gaza, which is blockaded and where 2 million people live, who have been bombed every day since the 7th of October, where the Israeli considers nothing sanctified, including Mosques and Churches, but the most shocking thing is how Israelis are bombing hospitals and are claiming their own assaults, but there is no international reaction.
The main goal of the Israeli campaign is to force and subjugate the people of Gaza, the people of Palestine, Lebanon, and all the peoples of the region, as the Israelis want to force the feeling of despair and abandonment on the people that it is targeting. Israel is telling people to abandon their land, their homes, and their livelihoods.
In the mind of the enemy, every house in Gaza is a legitimate target, but the Zionists are mistaken once again. One of the main objectives that the enemy seeks through these heinous crimes is to subdue the Palestinian and Lebanese people, as well as all the peoples of the region, and to say that the cost of resistance is very high, pushing them to surrender. Israeli brutality in the Gaza Strip has not receded; on the contrary, it increases day by day. It is an expression of the savage Zionist spirit of revenge that knows no limits.
The enemy will not succeed in subjugating the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region through massacres. This brutality has been ongoing for 75 years, resulting in more resistance and determination. Although thousands of homes were destroyed and thousands of people were killed in Lebanon by Israel, it did not bring despair to the Lebanese people, and resistance sprung up from many factions in Lebanon through all the wars in Lebanon. Did the Lebanese people give up on their Resistance during the 2006 war after witnessing all the massacres and destruction? No, they only grew more stubborn in their faith and trust in the Resistance.
The Israelis are the ones that should be in despair, not the Palestinians and the Lebanese, and new generations of resistance fighters will be born and will continue the fight, until the end goal of the destruction of the state of Israel.
Sadly, Arab and International media outlets and journalists, directly or indirectly, assist Israel in its narrative and excuses, there are Arab writers who unfortunately help, intentionally or unintentionally, to achieve Israeli goals, but that will also fail, the true aggressive nature of the enemy is becoming more evident today to the peoples of the world and the world leaders who have worked for years in the Arab and international media to whitewash its image. Today, the falsehood of Israeli claims of defending children is exposed, as they kill thousands of children and women, and there is a shift in global public opinion.
The resistance fighters in Gaza and Palestine are doing hard-hitting work to disrupt the normalization of relations with Israel and the Arab world. This ongoing aggression has shown the true colors of the Zionist regime to the world. The change in public opinion in Europe and America is extremely important, and that is taking place.
Public fury in Western countries at Israeli crimes will put pressure on governments in the West. There is a change in public opinion in Western nations regarding the narrative about Palestine, and this is a great achievement. The only country that can put an end to the war in Gaza is the US, as the aggression was started and is managed by the American government. But The Americans are the only ones who continue to declare their unwillingness for a ceasefire, them and their subordinate follower, the United Kingdom.

The Palestinian and the Lebanese people have been looking forward to the OIC summit, and they are demanding one thing – the minimum, that the Islamic and the Arab world stand as one man who yells in front of the American government to demand a ceasefire in Gaza through its mechanism and guarantees protocols by the US. He also expresses shame that 57 Islamic countries cannot have more open access to the Gaza Strip and send in more aid.
Even the Israelis have confessed that there are multiple fronts in the war in Gaza, including Lebanon, West Bank, Yemen, and Gaza. Palestinian resistance forces courageously fought Israeli forces, inflicting heavy losses on them. The West Bank is moving towards more confrontation and ignition, and the enemy entity says that the situation there may force them to withdraw forces from the south and north to face what they fear in the West Bank.
Yemen has taken a bold, strong, public, and official stance. They sent batches of missiles and marches to the occupied Palestinian territories, and we praise our Yemeni brothers for trying. The actions of our brothers in Yemen have had significant effects, even if we assume that the missiles and aircraft did not reach them. One of the most important results of Yemen’s exceptional stance is that it provided immense moral support to the Palestinian resistance, seeking this backing. Unfortunately, Arab countries are actively working against the Yemeni resistance. The occupation is still unable to present an image of victory for itself or an image of defeat for the resistance.
The mesmerizing and legendary field of Gaza is crucial today to a large extent in the course of affairs, and the real gamble is on the battlefield. Furthermore, the courageous Iraqi resistance targeted American bases more than 46 times since the war, despite the full might of the US military being stationed in the sea 56 American soldiers have been wounded by the missile strikes done by the Iraqi Resistance Groups. The enemy fell into a state of confusion in determining the source, so they bombed one of our formations in Syria, resulting in a number of martyrs. I don’t think anyone demands more from Syria, as a state and a people, than what it already provides. It emerged from a global war and fought against ISIS under American protection. Despite all the wounds in Syria, it still stands in its resilient position, providing support for the resistance.
The Islamic Republic of Iran’s moral, diplomatic, political, and material support of the resistance is proven. Accordingly, every victory and progress in the region is blessed by Iran. Iran’s support for Palestine is proven and set in stone, and if there is any resistance against Israel, be sure that it enjoys Iranian support. Iran does not decide on behalf of the resistance movements, but will remain its protector and supporter.
Quantities and qualitative military operations against Israel by Hezbollah have increased drastically, on all levels, including in missiles and field operations. On the Lebanese front, operations have been ongoing since October 8th and continue until today. Despite all the precautionary measures, our operations on the front have continued, and despite the constant presence of armed Israeli drones, which have become a new factor in the confrontation. In the past week, there has been a qualitative escalation, both in terms of the number of operations and the type of weapons used. For the first time, we are using kamikaze drones. The missiles that entered service in recent days on the Lebanese front are the Volcano missiles, weighing from 300 kg to half a ton.
